유럽표준화 위원회에서 제정한
EN (Européen de Normalisation)은

유럽규격의 약칭으로 European Standards로 EU 유럽연합 지역 규격으로
ASTM, ASME, API, KS, JIS 등과 함께 철강에 자주 등장하는 규격입니다.

철강 규격 중 자주 사용되는 규격이 10025 이며,
10025 에 S275, S355, S420, S460 규격의

영어 알파벳 “S”는 구조강인
Structure을 나타냅니다.

EN10025는 Hot rolled products of structural steels에
관한 규정이며 모두 6개 Part로 나뉘어져 있습니다.

EN10025 – 1 : General technical delivery conditions 으로 일반적인 기술적 공급 조건을
EN10025 – 2 : Technical delivery conditions for non-alloy structural steels에 대한 규정입니다.

EN10025 – 2 에 나타나는 강종은 S235JR, S235J0, S235J2, S275JR, S275J0, S275J2,
S355JR, S355J0, S355J2, S355K2, S450J0 규격에 대한 규정입니다.

EN10025 – 3 : Technical delivery conditions for normalized/normalized rolled weldable
fine grain structural steels에 관한 규정이며

EN10025 – 3 에 나타나는 강종은 S275N, S275NL, S355N, S355NL, S420N, S420NL,
S460N, S460NL규격에 대한 규정입니다.

EN10025 – 4 : Technical delivery conditions for thermomechanically rolled weldable
fine grain structural steels에 관한 규정이며

EN10025 – 4에 나타나는 강종은 S275M, S275ML, S355M, S355ML, S420M, S420ML,
S460M, S460ML규격에 대한 규정입니다.

EN10025 – 5 : Technical delivery conditions for structural steels with improved
atmospheric corrosion resistance 내후성강에 관한 규정이며

EN10025 – 5 에 나타나는 강종은 S235J0W, S235J2W, S355J0WP, S355J2WP, S355J0W,
S355J2W, S355K2W 내후성강에 대한 규정입니다.

EN10025 – 6 : Technical delivery conditions for flat products made of high yield strength
structural steels in the quenched and tempered condition

QT 열처리 고항장력강에 관한 규정이며
EN10025-6에 나타나는 강종은 S460Q, S960QL등의 규격이 나타납니다.

※ High Tensile Strength Steel (고장력강 : 高張力鋼)
Steel products manufactured for building, bridges, ships, vehicles,
automobiles, other structural use and pressure vessel use which
require weldability, notch toughness, workability, and
tensile strength of 490 N/㎟ min. in general.
In cold rolled steel sheets, those of 340 N/㎟ min. in tensile
strength are called high tensile strength steels.
건축, 교량, 선박, 차량, 기타의 구조물 및 압력용기용으로서,
보통 인장강도 50 kgf/㎟ (490 N/㎟) 이상의 용접성, 노치 인성 및
가공성도 중시해서 제조 된 강재라고 합니다.
자동차용 냉연강판에서는 인장강도 35 kgf/㎟ (340 N/㎟)
이상을 고장력강이라고 합니다.

※ Atmospheric corrosion resistance (내후성 : 耐候性)
A property of low alloy steels or the like for corrosion resistance
in the atmospheric of natural environment.
Including the resistance for deterioration of resin for coated
steel plate and polyvinyl chloride-coated steel plate.
저합금강 등이 자연 환경의 대기 속에서 부식에 견디는 성질.

※Fine grained steel (세립강 細粒鋼) :
Steel with an austenitic grain size number is 5 or over…JIS
Coarse grained steel (조립강 粗粒鋼 : Steel with austenitic grain size number is up to 5.

※ Fine grained steel (DIN-EN)
Steel with fine grain structure with an equivalent index of ferritic grain
size ≥ 6 determined in accordance with EN ISO 643

※ Fine grain steel
Steels which resist grain growth over a considerable temperature range,
when held at temperature for a reasonable length of time as is
customary in heat treatment of steel
