세탁조용, 화학 설비용으로 사용되는 강종입니다.

아래의 스테인레스강과 탄소강의
비교치에서 보듯 Ni 금속이 들어가지 않고

Cr 만 함유한 강종으로
대표적인 Cr Series 스테인레스입니다.

탄소강 완제품의 가격이 톤당 800$ 수준이지만
Nickel 가격은 Ton당 16000$ (2012년 11월)

수준으로 탄소강 완제품 가격의
20배에 달하는 수준으로

스테인레스강의 최대 가격 상승 요인
Ni 이 빠지니 가격은 저렴합니다.

예를 들어 SUS304 인 경우
Nickel 8~10.5% 가 스텐레스강에 함유되니

스테인레스강의 급격한
제조 원가 상승 요인입니다.

KS STANDARD 로는 STS430으로 내용은 같습니다.

스텐인레스강이란 내식성을 향상시킬 목적으로 Cr 또는 Cr + Ni 을
합금 시킨 합금강으로, 일반적으로는 Cr 함유량이 약 11% 이상 합금 된
강을 스테인레스강이라고 하고, 그 조직에 따라 마르텐사이트계
페라이트계, 오스테나이트계, 오스테나이트 + 페라이트계인 이상 (Duplex :二相)계
석출경화계 로 5가지로 나뉩니다.
