U Sections 는 형강에 속합니다.
한글 자음의 “ㄷ” 자와 모습이 같아

“ㄷ” 형강이라고도 합니다.
H-BEAM, I-BEAM, Angle, Flat-Bar (평철),

Round-Bar (원형강) 와 함께 U Sections 는
대표적인 형강 제품입니다.

강종은 거의 SS400으로만 생산되며
일반 구조용강으로, 시장에 공급되는 Size 로는

아래에 나타나는 규격이지만
특별 주문 생산되는 Size는 훨씬 많습니다.

그 중 중소형 U Channel 의 공급에서 어려움이 없지만
대형 U Sections 인 경우는 생산이 안되는 규격도 있어

대형 Project , Plant, 발전소 수요가 발생하는 경우
수요와 공급에 상당한 어려움이 있습니다.
