SUS420J2 는 Martensitic Series 입니다.
마르텐사이트강이라면,

일단 Cr을 11.5% 이상을 함유하며,
마르텐사이트계의 대표 강종은 SUS410 입니다.

SUS410 스테인레스에
탄소를 높이면, SUS420J1 이 됩니다.

SUS420J1 에,
탄소를 더 높이면

SUS420J2가 되며,
스테인레스강에서도,

탄소강과 마찬가지로|
탄소량을 늘릴수록,

항복강도, 인장강도, 경도는 높아집니다.
SUS420J2 강종은 SUS410, SUS420J1과

마찬가지로 자성이 있으며
노즐, 밸브, 칼, 가위의 용도에 적용되는 강종입니다.

※ Martensitic Stainless Steels
Stainless steels which can be hardened by increasing carbon contents
of ferritic stainless steel and heat treatment to martensitic structure
SUS410 is representative.
담금질함으로서 마르텐자이트 조직으로 되어, 경화 시킬 수가 있는
스테인레스강으로 SUS410 — 13% 크롬강이 대표적입니다.

※ Martensite (마르텐자이트)
체심 정방체 (BCC) 구조를 가지는 준안정 고용체를 말합니다.
이것은 오스테나이트가 확산 기구가 아닌 방법으로 변태 되어 형성됩니다.

Metastable solid solution with a body-centred tetragonal crystal or a
body-centered cubic crystal having the same chemical composition
as that of the original austenite.
It is formed at a temperature of point Ms or lower by the transformation
of austenite without diffusional mechanism.
Martensite is sometimes produced by plastic deformation of austenite.
