스테인레스도 Ni-Cr 합금이지만
Alloy 600 에서의 Ni 량은

스테인레스 강의 10배 쯤 되는
min 72%  and  14~17% 수준의 크롬을 함유합니다.

Alloy 600 의
UNS No는 N06600번으로

UNS의 Nxxxxx는 Nickel과 Nickel Alloy를 의미합니다.
또한 스테인레스 강에서 나타나는

UNS No로 Sxxxxx로 나타나는 경우가 있는데, 이는
Heat and corrosion resistance steels,

Valve steel, Iron base
super-alloy 를 의미합니다.

UNS No는 전세계 재료에 대한
표준 Code 로 많이 활용되고 있습니다.

Alloy 600은 Inconel 600 으로도 불리며
고온에서 산화저항성을 가지는 Ni-Cr 힙금으로

HPA (High Performance Alloys : 고성능 합금) 은
내열 특성, 내식 특성을 가집니다.

이 강종이 적용되는 부분은
머플러, 열전대 (발전소, 제철 제강의 온도 측정용),

열교환기, 전기로와  전로의 부품에 사용되며
물리적 성질로는

항복강도 min 275 MPa,
인장강도 min 620 MPa 를 가집니다.

Sheet와 Plate는 ASTM B168
Bar는 ASTM B166의 Code에 나타납니다.

※ Super Alloy
Alloy of which content rate or iron is about 50% max,
by addition of a great amount of alloy elements, in order to
improve the corrosion resistance or thermal resistance of steel

강의 내식성 또는 내열성을 개선 시키기 위하여, 합금 원소를
다량으로 첨가하여, 철분이 약 50% 이하로 되어 있는 합금.

※ Oxidation resistance (내산화성 : 耐酸化性)
A property of oxidation resistance at a high temperature.
고온에서 산화 (철의 부식)에 견디는 성질
