스테인레스 강종입니다.

Martensite 계에서 뿐 아니라,
많은 SUS 스텐레스 강종 중에서

세 번째로 Si 함유량이 적습니다.
SUS447J1, SUS XM27 강종이 0.40% max이고 …. 제일 낮음.

Si는 제강 과정에서
탈산제로 사용되는 원소이며

고온에서 내산화성, 내침탄성 향상 원소이기는 하지만
첨가량이 많아지면 인성과 연성을 저하 시키는 원소이기도 합니다.

SUS403은 0.50% max로,
대부분의 SUS 다른 스텐레스강 1.00%의,

절반 정도의 Si 함량을 가지는 이 강종은,
스팀 터빈 노즐용, 터빈 블레이드에 사용되고,

내 Stress 저항성,
내열 성질을 가지는 강종입니다…고온 고응력 부품용.

※Stress (응력, 應力)
Tensile or compressive load per unit area.
Generally stress is expressed in N/㎟ or in MPa.
There are different kinds of stress, internal stress,
transformation stress, machining stress, thermal stress, etc..

※ Toughness (인성 : 靭性)
The degree of difficulty in occurring impact breaking
because of the material’s toughness .
질기고 세며, 충격 파괴를 일으키기 어려운지, 어떤지의 정도.

※ Ductility (연성 : 延性)
The property of metals that enables them to be mechanically deformed
when cold, without fracture. In steel, ductility is usually measured by
elongation and reduction area is determined in a tensile test.

금속에 인장력을 줘 소성 변형을 일으켰을 때, 끊어짐이 없이 선 (line)상으로
늘릴 수 있는 성질을 연성이라고 하고, 연성은 인장시험에서
연신율 (Elongation), 단면 수축율 (Reduction area; RA)로 측정합니다.
물질이 파괴되지 않고 유연하게 변할 수 있는 능력입니다.
쉽게 말해 물질이 파괴되지 않고 유연하게 변형할 수 있는 능력입니다.

※ Oxidation resistance (내산화성 : 耐酸化性)
A property of oxidation resistance at a high temperature.
고온에서 산화 (철의 부식)에 견디는 성질
