스테인레스를 조직으로 분류하면
오스테나이트계 …. 가장 많이 쓰이는 SUS304 가 소속됨.

페라이트계 라고 해서
주로 Cr만을 합금 시킨 스테인레스 강으로 SUS430이 소속됨.

세번째로는
마르텐자이트계로 SUS410이 대표 강종임.

하지만 이 세가지만 가지고는 부족한 점이 있어
Chloride (염화물)에 강한 Duplex계도 있고 ….. SUS329 계열.

재질을 찾아 쓰는 Precipitation Hardening 이라는 석출경화계가 있습니다.

Precipitation Hardening 라는 석출경화 영어에
Hardening 라는 단어만 봐도 감이 잡히는 강종입니다.

SUS631 3/4H 재질을, 아래의 표를 보면 인장 강도가
1000 MPa 를 가볍게 넘고 있습니다.

탄소강에서 가장 많이 사용되는
SS400 의 인장 강도 최소 값이 400 MPa 와 비교해 봐도

SUS631 3/4H 재질이 얼마나, 극강의 강도를
자랑하는 스테인레스 강재 인지 알 수 있습니다.

※ Precipitation Hardening Steels (석출경화 : 析出硬化)
Steels with the property of being hardened by a method wherein
a small amount of elements such as aluminium, copper, etc.
is added and compounds of those elements or the like are
precipitated by heat treatment

알루미늄, 구리 등의 원소를 소량 첨가하고, 열처리에 의해
이들 원소 화합물을 석출 시켜 경화 하는 성질을 지니게 한 강.

※ Precipitation (석출 : 析出)
A phenomenon in which a crystal of a different phase is
separated from a solid solution and grows.

※ Solid solution (고용체 : 固溶體)
Homogeneous, solid, crystalline phase formed by two or more elements.
Note : A distinction is made between a substitutional solid solution
in which the solute atoms ars substituted for those of the solvent
and an inter-stitial solid solution in which the solute atoms are
inserted between those of the solvent.

두종류 이상의 원소에 의해 생성되는 균질이며
고체이고, 결정질인 상.
용질 원자가 용매 원자 자리에 치환되는 치환형 고용체와
용매 원자 사이에 침입형 고용체로 구분됩니다.

금속 재료의 강화 방법 중 하나로, 금속을 강하게 만드는 종류로는
가공 경화 ; 변형 경화 (Strain hardening)
석출 경화 ; 시효 경화 (Precipitation strengthening)
결정립 미세화 (Grain refinement),
고용 강화 (Solid-solution strengthening) 등이 있습니다.
