Charpy V-Notch Impact Test입니다.

허용 인장 응력은 -45℃ ~ 200℃ 에서
SMLS인 경우 85 MPa입니다.

Steel Temperature Pipe Low의 약자 Symbol STPL이고
인장강도 최소 값 380을 붙여 STPL380 Steel Grade입니다.

STPL380 은 열처리 필수 강재로 Normalizing or
Normalizing-Tempering, Quenching-Tempering입니다.

※ Normalizing : Heat treatment consisting of austenitizing followed by air cooling.
The purposes of this operation are to eliminate the influence of pre-working,
to render the crystal grains finder and to improve their mechanical properties.

오스테나이트화 후 공기 중에서 냉각하는 열처리로 노말라이징 열처리의 목적은
강재 생산 앞 공정에서 받은 응력 (Stress)를 풀어주고 결정립을 미세화, 표준화 시켜,
기계적 성질을 향상 시키는 열처리를 말합니다.

※ Charpy impact test
Test to measure the absorbed energy, impact value, percentage
of brittle/ductile fracture, transition temperature, etc. with using
charpy impact testing machine in which test piece is supported by
two supports distant by 40 mm so that the notch meets the middle
between supports and is broken by striking with one blow of
pendulum to the face opposite the notch.
샤르피 충격 시험기를 사용하여 시험편을 40 mm 간격이 있는 두 개의
지지대에 올려 놓고, 또는 노치부를 지지대 사이의 중앙에 놓고
노치부의 뒷면을 해머로 1회만 충격을 주어, 시험편을 파단 시키고
흡수 에너지, 충격치, 파면율, 천이 온도 등을 측정하는 시험.
