가장 범용적으로 많이 쓰이는 SS400 강종입니다.
화학 원소 규정이 너무 간단합니다.

ASTM, DIN-EN 강재 중 가장 범용적으로 많이
쓰이는 강종도 SS400 보다, 규정이 훨씬 까다롭습니다.

SS400에는 화학 원소 인 (P), 황 (S) 규정만 있으며,
그것도 아주 여유 있는 수준인 0.050 max 입니다.

CVN (Charpy V-Notch) Impact Test 규정도 없습니다.
저온 충격 시험은 고사하고, 상온 충격 시험도 없습니다.

Plate는 두께 100mm 이상도 공급 가능하지만
환봉 (Round-Bar) 으로 공급되는 경우 D70mm 이상의

대구경 환봉은 수요와 공급 애로가 있는 강종입니다.
SS400 형강 H-Beam은 498×432×45 (t1)/70mmt (t2) 까지 두께가 있습니다.

SS400 구조용 강재는 이전 KS 규격이고 , 개정 후
KS SS275 로, 변경 되었고, JIS는 SS400 그대로 입니다.

occurs in tensile test, expressed by dividing the load by original
sectional area of parallel portion.
the yield strength is used instead of yield point.

평행부의 원단면적으로 나눈 값
항복점을 항복 강도로 사용하기도 합니다.

※ Tensile Strength
Value of maximum load during tensile test divided by the
original sectional area of parallel portion.
As for materials in which the maximum load withstood by test piece
after yielding is lower than the upper yield point, it shall be the
value of the maximum load after yielding divided by original
sectional area of parallel portion.
