인성 증강 탄소강 강판 ASTM 규격입니다.

C-Mn-Si 강판이라고도 합니다.
A573 강판은 3종류 Grade가 있으며

A573 강재는 Fine Grain으로
제조를 명시하고 있습니다.

※ Fine grained steel (세립강 細粒鋼) :
Steel with an austenitic grain size number is 5 or over.

※ Grain size
The size of grains in the steel structure has direct effects on
mechanical properties. The grain size is generally expressed
with ASTM Standards

According to ASTM Standards, material with a grain size of 5
has 16 grains per square inch and materials with a grain size of 7
has 64 grains per squire inch.

※ Toughness (인성 : 靭性)
The degree of difficulty in occurring impact breaking
because of the material’s toughness.

질기고 세며, 충격 파괴를 일으키기 어려운지, 어떤지의 정도.
질김성으로 충격에 대한 금속 재료의 저항성을 말합니다.

A573 specification covers structural quality carbon- manganese-silicon
steel plates in three tensile strength ranges intended primarily for service
at atmospheric temperatures where improved notch toughness is important.
