SS275 가 이전 규격 SS400을 대체하는
신 KS 일반 구조용 강재이지만

Chemical composition과 강도 면에서
기존의 SS400 강재 이상의 물성을 가집니다.

개정 전 SS400 인 경우 비금속 개재물인 P, S에 대한 규정만 있지만
개정 후 SS275 는 탄소 (C), 망간 (Mn), 규소 (Si) 까지 규정했습니다.

※ Steel for structure (구조용강)
Steel products manufactured for building, bridges, ships, vehicles,
and other structure uses, which require high strength,
if required weldability as well.

건축, 교량, 선박, 차량, 기타의 구조물용으로서 강도 및 필요에 따라
용접성을 중시하여 제조 된 강재를 말합니다.

※ Rolled steel products (압연 강재 : 壓延鋼材)
Steel products to be formed bars, wire rods, sections, steel strip
in coil, steel plates, flat bar and so on by rolling mill.
Normally those further not hot rolled by the manufacturer.

압연기로서 봉강, 선재, 형강, 강판, 강대, 평강 등의 모양으로, 성형 가공한 강재로
성형 가공 후 보통 제조자에 의해 더 이상 추가적인 열간 압연이 없습니다.

※ Non-metallic inclusion (비금속개재물 : 非金屬介在物)
Non-metallic inclusion precipitated or dragged into
a steel in solidifying of steel
The inclusions are examined by macro-structure examination and
micro-structure examination and the inclusions
of the former are defined as non-metallic
are defined as non-metallic inclusions visible with naked eyes.

강의 응고 과정에서 강 안에 석출 또는 혼입 되어 들어가는
비금속성의 개재물로 매크로 조직 시험으로 조사하는데
앞에서 말한 개재물이란 육안으로 인지되는
비금속 개재물을 말합니다.

※ Inclusions (개재물 : 介在物)
Non metallic particles like oxides, sulfides, and silicates in the steel matrix.
To decrease the negative effect of inclusions on mechanical properties,
special cleaning methods are used during the melting process in steel production.

산화물, 황화물, 규산염 등의 아주 작은 입자들이 금속 조직 내 있는 것을 말하고
이들은 기계적 성질에 부정적인 영향을 감소 시키려고 강의 제조 과정에서
제거 시킵니다.
