0℃ 에서 CVN 27 Joule Test 시험을 하고
결과 값을 검사 증명서 (Mill Test Certificate)에 기재해야 합니다.

기존의 SM400B 강종 보다
강도(Strength)가 조금 높게 설정 됐습니다.

또한 Ceq (탄소 당량)와 Pcm (용접 균열 감수성)에 대한 규정을 두어
이전 SM400B 규정과는 차별 됩니다.

SM275B 의 물성은 JIS SM400B 를 능가하고
DIN-EN S275J0와 대응되는 수준으로

항복 강도 275 MPa minimum,
인장 강도 410~550 MPa 입니다.

※ Charpy impact test (Charpy V-Notch : CVN : 샤르피 충격 시험)

Test to measure the absorbed energy, impact value, percentage of
brittle/ductile fracture, transition temperature, etc. with using charpy
impact testing machine in which test piece is supported by two
supports distant by 40 mm so that the notch meets the middle
between supports and is broken by striking with one blow of
pendulum to the face opposite the notch.

샤르피 충격 시험기를 이용해, 시험편을 40 mm 간격이 있는 두 개의
지지대에 올려 놓고, 또한 노치부를 지지대 사이의 중앙에 놓고
노치부의 뒷면을 해머로 1회만 충격을 주어, 시험편을 파단 시키고
흡수 에너지, 충격치, 파면율, 천이 온도 등을 측정하는 시험.
