AMS 4027 규격은 A6061 T6, Sheet와
A6061 T651, Plate에 대한 규정입니다.

AMS 4027 Standard Specification for Aluminum Alloy, Sheet and Plate,
6061-T6 Sheet, 6061-T651 Plate, Solution and Precipitation Heat Treated.

알루미늄 A6061과 같이 A6×××, 6000계열 합금은
Al-Mg-Si 합금으로, 석출 경화형 합금입니다.

압출 성형 가공되는 알루미늄 합금 중
80% 정도가 6000 계열 합금입니다.

A6061 뒤의 T6, T651의 “T”는 알루미늄의
열처리를 의미하는 약호 입니다.

T6 은, 고용화 열처리 (solution heat treated) 이후에  인공 시효 경화 (Artificially  aged)하고
냉간 가공은 기계적 특성에 영향을 미치지 않는 것에 대한 약호 입니다.

T651 은, 고용화 열처리 이후에 1.5~3% 영구 변형을 가하는 인장 가공을 하고
응력을 제거한 후에 인공 시효 경화 처리한 상태의 약호 입니다.

항공기의 구조체– Aircraft structures. 요트의 제작 — Yacht construction.
창틀 — Window frames, 자전거 프레임 등으로 사용됩니다.

※ Solution heat treatment (용체화 처리/고용화 처리)
A process in which an alloy is heated to a suitable temperature and is held
at this temperature long enough to allow soluble constituents to enter into
solid solution where they are retained in a super-saturated state after quenching.

합금을 적절한 온도로 가열하고 급랭 이후 과포화 상태로 존재하던
가용성분이 고용체에 고용화 될 수 있도록 충분히 유지하는 공정을 말합니다.

※ Artificial ageing (precipitation heat treatment) : 인공 시효 (석출 열처리)
A thermal treatment of an alloy at above room temperature to produce strengthening
by precipitation of soluble constituents from the super-saturated solid solution.

과포화 고용체로부터 가용 성분의 석출에 의한 강화를 위하여
상온 이상에서 합금을 열처리 하는 것을 말합니다.
