부식과 인장 응력 또는 잔류 응력, 그리고 부식성 환경으로 인해 금속의
변형과 함께 발생하는 부식을 말합니다.
금속 표면에 거의 부식이 없지만 미세한 균열들이 금속 내부로 퍼짐에
(전파에)따라, 설계 강도보다 훨씬 낮은 응력에서도 금속 파괴가 일어날 수 있습니다.
