미량 합금 원소에 열처리에 의해 성질을 개선한 강재 입니다.
일반적으로 쓰는 Mold Steel 이고
정밀 부품 제작할 때 Base Plate로 사용됩니다.
Normalizing and Tempering 열처리 한
강괴 원소재에서, 원하는 Size로 절단 사용합니다.
KP1 또는 TP1 이라는 제조사 Steel Symbol 을 사용하며
KS, JIS 규정에는 없는 Steel Grade 입니다.
KP4, TP4 로 불리는 강종도 마찬가지입니다.
KP4, TP4 강종은 AISI 4140, 또는
JIS의 기계 구조용 합금강재인
SCM–Cr-Mo 합금 강종의 성질 개량형 (Improved)입니다.

to the steel so that it can be used for specific purposes
강의 성질을 향상 시키기 위해, 또는 소정의 성질을 구비 시키기 위해
합금 원소를 1 종 또는 2 종 이상을 합금 시킨 강.
※ Tempering (뜨임열처리)
Heat treatment applied to a ferrous product, generally after quench hardening,
or another heat treatment to bring the properties to the required level, and
consisting of heating to specific temperature (＜Ac1 )and soaking one or
more time, followed by cooling at an appropriate rate.
Tempering generally leads to a reduction in hardness
but can, in certain cases, cause an increase in hardness.
철강재를 퀜칭 경화 후, 또는 특정 수준의 성질을 얻기 위하여 (＜Ac1 ) 온도
이하의 특정 온도로 가열한 후 한두 번 균열화한 다음, 적당한 속도로
냉각하는 별도의 열처리로
보통 템퍼링은 경도를 감소 시키지만, 어떤 경우에는 도리어
경도가 증가할 수도 있습니다.
