하나는 고온용 (Elevated temperature) 입니다.
하나는 Cr-Mo Alloy 합금강 입니다.

제품이 판 (Plates), 파이프 (Pipes), 튜브 (Tubes) 단조용 (Forgings and Flanges),
주물 (Castings) 이냐에 따라 ASTM 번호만 달라집니다.

Chromium-Molybdenum (Cr-Mo) 합금강은
Oil 정제 공장에서 광범위하게 사용되는 재질이고

화학 산업, 전력 생산 발전소, 열 교환기, 압력 용기
Super-heater tube (과열관), Boiler Tube (보일러 튜브) 사용됩니다.

A387, A335, A182, A213, A217, Cr-Mo 합금강의
가장 큰 이점은 Cr-Mo 합금으로, Creep strength의 향상입니다.

또한 Chromium의 합금은 내식성을 향상 시키면서,
Cr-Mo, 두 원소에 의해 석출 경화 (Precipitation hardening) 효과와

고용체 강화 (Solid-solution strengthening)에
의해 Creep strength를 높일 수 있습니다.

Homogeneous, solid, crystalline phase formed by two or more elements.

두 종류 이상의 원소에 의해 생성되는 균질이며

용질 원자가 용매 원자 자리에 치환되는 치환형 고용체와
용매 원자 사이에 침입형 고용체로 구분됨.

※ Creep resistance
a property of resistance against a phenomenon in which
strain in the lapse of time under a fixed stress at a high
temperature called high temperature creep.

고온의 일정한 압력을 받는 환경에서 물질의 변형이
시간이 경과함에 따라 증가하는 현상을 고온 크립이라고 하고
이에 견디는 성질을 말합니다.
