SUH35 는, 가솔린 엔진과 디젤 엔진의
배기 밸브용 강재로
고온에서의 강도가 중요시 되는 재질입니다.
고크롬 합금 — 20~22%, 고탄소 –0.48~0.58% 강재입니다.
고용화 열처리 (Solution treatment–1100~1200℃ 급랭) 후
시효 처리 (Aging treatment — 730~780℃ 공냉) 열처리 조건입니다.
SUH35 에서의 Chromium 은 담금질성 향상 원소이면서
탄소와 결합해 탄화물을 만들어
내식성 — Corrosion resistance
내마모성 — Wear resistance
내열성 — Heat resistance 을 향상 시킵니다.
이러한 성질의 부여하려고 탄소 함량을 높이고
크롬의 함량을 높여,
고열에 노출되는 배기 밸브용 자재가 됩니다.

※ Solution treatment (용체화 처리, 고용화 처리)
Heat treatment intended for dissolve previously precipitated
constituents and retain them in solution.
이전에 이미 석출 된 성분들을 재용해 되어 완전히 분해되
조직 내에 고용되어 다시 석출 되지 않게 하는 열처리.
※ Ageing treatment (시효 처리)
Heat treatment applied to a ferrous product after solution treatment
bring its properties to the required level.
Note : It consists of heating to and socking at one or more
specified temperature, followed by appropriate cooling.
철강재가 필요한 성질을 가지도록 용체화 처리한 뒤에 적용하는 열처리.
이 처리는 가열한 뒤 정해진 하나 또는 두 온도에서 일정 시간 유지하는
균열화 처리 후 적절하게 냉각하는 공정으로 이루어 진다.
