사각재 또는 환봉으로도 필요한 경우가 있습니다.

SM520B 는 항복강도가 365 MPa minimum 으로
SM490YA, SM490YB 보다 상위 강종이며

DIN-EN 10025 S355JR, S355JO 보다도 상급 강종입니다.
Charpy V-Notch Impact Test (CVN), 0℃, 27 joule 입니다.

두께 100mm 까지의 공급 Spec 이지만
수요자와 공급자간 합의에 의해 150mm 까지도 가능합니다.

SM520B Steel Grade 제품은, Plate
Steel strip in coil, section and flat 으로 규정 되 있습니다.

Carbon equivalent (탄소당량)은 두께 50mm까지 0.38 max
50이상~100mm까지는 0.40% maximum 입니다.

※ Charpy V-Notch Impact Test (CVN)
Test to measure the absorbed energy, impact value, percentage
of brittle/ductile fracture, transition temperature, etc. with using
charpy impact testing machine in which test piece is supported by
two supports distant by 40 mm so that the notch meets the middle
between supports and is broken by striking with one blow of
pendulum to the face opposite the notch.

샤르피 충격 시험기를 사용하여 시험편을 40 mm 간격이 있는 두 개의
지지대에 올려 놓고, 또는 노치부를 지지대 사이의 중앙에 놓고
노치부의 뒷면을 해머로 1회만 충격을 주어, 시험편을 파단 시키고
흡수 에너지, 충격치, 파면율, 천이 온도 등을 측정하는 시험.

※ JIS G3106 용접 구조용 강재 Steel Grade

SM400A, SM400B, SM400C, SM490A, SM490B, SM490C,
