쾌삭강 (Free-cutting) 입니다.

황 (Sulfur)을 일반 강재보나 높게 합금 해
강재의 절삭 성능을 향상 시킨 강재입니다.

1.0764, 36SMn14 는 황을 0.10~0.18% 합금 하는데,
이를  일반 구조용 강재인 SS400 황함량 0.050 max,

DIN-EN S275JR, 0.035 max,
DIN-EN S275J0,  0.030 max

DIN-EN S275J2, 0.025 max 와   비교하면
1.0764, 36SMn14 의 황 함량이  얼마나 높은 알 수 있습니다

또한 1.0764, 36SMn14 는, 탄소량을 높여, 절삭 성능과 함께
높은 강도를 가지는 강재 입니다.

1.0764, 36SMn14 용접성 (weldability) :
Because of their high sulfur and phosphorus contents,
free-cutting steels are not normally recommended for welding.

※ Free cutting steels (Resulfurized : 쾌삭강)
Steels to which free cutting properties is improved by
individual or combined addition of phosphorus (P), sulfur (S),
lead (Pb), selenium (Se), tellurium (Te), calcium (Ca), etc.

인, 황, 납, 셀레늄, 테루륨, 칼슘 등을 단독 또는 복합으로
첨가하여, 피삭성을 높인 강.

※ Semi-finished products(鋼片 : 강편)
Semi-finished products whose cross-sectional shapes along the length
are constant, obtained by rolling or forging of steel ingots or
by continuous casting.
Generally intended for conversion into finished products by the
subsequent hot rolling or hot forging.
According to the cross-sectional shape and dimension,
classified into slab, bloom, billet, sheet bar and so on.

강괴로 부터 분괴 압연기 또는 열간 단조로서 제조 되어, 열간 압연의 강판,
강대, 선재, 봉강, 형강, 평강 및 SMLS 강관과 주조품의 각 제조 공정에
공급되는 소재로, 단면의 모영, 치수에 따라서 슬라브, 빌렛,
블룸, 시트바라고도 합니다.
