SA516 규격의 강도로 구분한 재질의 등급은 4종류입니다.

SA516-60 (SA516 Grade, SA516 Gr.60, SA516-60) 강판은
저온용에 사용되는 Low-Temperature 강재 입니다.

노치 인성 (notch toughness)이 중요한 강재 입니다.
저온이면서, 압력용기용으로 사용됩니다.

공급 조건 (Supplementary requirement) 으로는
S5 : Charpy V-Notch Impact Test

S12 : Ultrasonic Examination in accordance with A578
조건이 제시될 수 있습니다.

They are generally used for the principal portions of
pressure vessels.

압력용기 및 고압 설비용으로서 고온 강도, 용접성 및 주로
상온에서의 인성을 중요시하여 제조 된 강재로
보통 압력용기의 주요 부분에 사용됩니다.
