철강을 퀜칭 경화 시켰을 경우의 경화 용이도, 즉 경화가
되는 깊이와 경도의 깊이를 지배하는 성능을 말합니다.
경화성은, 통상 경화가 되는 깊이의 대소로서 비교하는데,
거기에는 경화성 시험 방법 (한쪽 끝 퀜칭 방법)을
사용하는게 편리합니다.
