1.4438, AISI 317L 스테인레스는

3.5% 수준의 Molybdenum 합금으로

2.5% 수준 Moly 합금인 SUS316L 과 비교하면, 내해수성 및
내식성, 내공식성 (pitting corrosion resistance)이 좋습니다.

1.4438, 317L 에, 합금 된 몰리브덴 원소는
스테인레스강에 고온 강도와 용접성을 향상 시키고

결정립의 미세화 효과를 줍니다.
1.4438 은, 304 재질보다도 높은 내해수 성질을 가집니다.

이와 같은 성질로, 콘덴서 및 열 교환기용 재료, 펄프와 제지 공업,
염색 설비, 화학 공업, 정제 공정용 재료로 사용됩니다.

The property of metals that enables them to be mechanically deformed
when cold, without fracture. In steel, ductility is usually measured by
elongation and reduction area is determined in a tensile test.

늘릴 수 있는 성질을 연성이라고 하고, 연성은 인장 시험에서
연신율 (Elongation), 단면 수축율 (Reduction area; RA)로 측정합니다.
