Toolox 33 은, 제조사 SSAB의 trademark 입니다.
제조사에서, QT 열처리 해서 공급하는

Pre-hardened 강재이므로
수요가측의 별도 열처리가 필요없습니다.

Toolox 33 은, 인장강도 980 MPa 높은 강도를 가지면서
충격에 대한 인성(toughness) 재질입니다

공구강재에 합금 되는 Vanadium 합금과
인성 증강 원소인 Nickel을 1% 수준 합금하고

Quenching (담금질성)을 향상 시켜 주는
Chromium 을 합금 했습니다.

JIS의 기계 구조용 합금강재, SNC 합금강재에 Vanadium 을 합금 해,
공구강재의 성격을 강화한 것과 비교됩니다.

SSAB Toolox Series로는 인장강도 980 MPa 수준의 Toolox 33
1260 MPa 수준의 Toolox 40, 1450 MPa 수준의 Toolox 44 가 있습니다.

Toolox Series 는 Plate 강판과
Round- bar 환봉 형태의 제품이 있습니다.

There are a large number of types, because they have many uses and
various required performance. They are, as a rule, classified into carbon
tool steels, alloy tool steels, and high speed tool steels by chemical
composition and performance.

금속, 또는 비금속의 절삭, 소성 가공용 등의 각종 지그 (jig), 공구로 쓰이는
강철의 총칭. 용도가 넓고 요구 성능이 다방면에 걸치므로 종류가 많습니다.
일반적으로는 화학 성분 및 성능을 고려하여 탄소 공구강, 합금 공구강,
고속도 공구강으로 분류됩니다.

※ Hardness (경도 : 硬度)
Resistance to plastic deformation usually by indentation.
For steel users, it is a parameter to express different mechanical
properties of steel. It should be considered together with other
properties. For example, if two different steel grades have both
50 HRC hardness, it does not necessary mean both have the
same mechanical properties or wear resistance.

압인이나 긁힘에 의한 변형, 특히 영구적인 변형에 대한 재료의
내구성으로 강재의 기계적 성질의 지표입니다.
다른 강재가, 같은 경도 값을 가지더라도 내마모성, 기계적 성질이
다를 수 있으니, 경도와 함께 다른 기계적 성질도 참고해야 합니다.
