317LM 은, 오스테나이트계 스텐레스입니다.
316L 의, Molybdenum 합금량 2~3% 보다 많아,

317LM 에는, Mo 4.0~5.0% 합금 됐습니다.
몰리브덴을 스테인레스에 합금 하면

스테인레스의 결정립을 미세화 시켜
고온 강도와 용접성을 향상 시킵니다.

또한 몰리브덴을 합금한 오스테나이트 스테인레스는
공식과 틈 부식과, 내식 성능이 좋습니다.

317LM 에는, 질소(nitrogen), 0.20%  maximum 합금 되는데
질소는 공식과 틈 부식에 대한 저항성을 더욱 높입니다.

※ Pitting corrosion (공식 : 孔蝕)
Localized corrosion resulting in pits, i.e
cavities extending from the surface into the metal.

금속 표면으로부터 내부까지 확장된 구멍을 유발 시키는 국부 부식.

※ Grain (결정립 : 結晶粒)
Elementary crystal of polycrystalline structure.
Unit cells which are the smallest building blocks of metals create
grains by coming together from different orientations,
Steel with a small grain size (high number of ASTM Standard)
has a high tensile strength and a high toughness.

다 결정체를 구성하는 기본 결정

※ Stainless steel
Alloy steels containing chromium 10.5% or more, carbon 1.2%
or less to improve the corrosion resistance.
They are classified into 5 types, which are
martensitic, ferritic, austenitic, austenitic-ferritic and precipitation hardening.
principally according to their structure at ordinary temperature.

스텐인레스강이란 내식성을 향상 시킬 목적으로 Cr 또는 Cr+Ni 을
합금 시킨 합금강으로, 일반적으로는 Cr 함유량이 약 11% 이상 합금 된
강을 스테인레스강이라고 하고, 그 조직에 따라 마르텐사이트계
페라이트계, 오스테나이트계,  오스테나이트+페라이트계인 이상 (Duplex : 二相)계
석출경화계 로,  5가지로 나뉩니다.
