H1150은 Heat treatment 1150℃ 를 의미하고

H1150D 는 Double 열처리를 말합니다.
1150℉ 에서 두 번 열처리를 해

H1150 + H1150 으로도 표기합니다.
17-4PH 에서 17-4는 Chromium 17%

Nickel 4% 수준의 합금량을 말하고,Cu 4% 합금입니다.
17-4PH에서 PH는 석출경화 (precipitation hardening)

강재임을 나타내고, 17-4PH, H1150D 강재는
내식성에서는 304 강재와 비슷한 성질이지만

304 강재의 항복강도 205MPa minimum
17-4PH, H1150D 항복강도 725 minimum 으로

규정된 최소 항복강도 값을 비교하면
3배에 이르는 높은 강도 특성입니다.

Copper (Cu)를 석출경화성 원소로 합금하고
니오븀과 탄탈럼을 합금한 강재입니다.

17-4PH H1150D 강재는 우주 항공,
hand tools 의료 장비 용도로 사용됩니다.

시효처리는 열처리 합금의 석출 경화 과정을 의미하며 열처리 온도에 따라
자연 시효 (Natural Ageing)과 인공 시효 (Artificial Ageing) 으로 구분되며
자연 시효 (Natural Ageing)는 상온에서 일정 시간 유지하는 열처리이고
인공 시효 (Artificial Ageing)는 석출물의 빠른 발현 진행 시키려고 하는
고온에서 일정 시간 유지하는 열처리를 의미합니다.
