C86300, SAE430B 재질은 고력 (high strength) 황동입니다.
인장강도 758 MPa minimum 수준의 동합금입니다.

높은 강도 — high strength
좋은 내마모성 — good wearing properties

좋은 인성 — good toughness 재질이지만
기계 가공성이 좋지 않습니다 — poor machinability

높은 하중이 걸리면서 저속으로 사용해야 하는 환경
유압 실린더 (hydraulic cylinder)부품으로 사용됩니다.

내식성 (corrosion resistance) 이 있기는 하지만
탈아연 부식 (dezincification) 이 있을 수 있습니다.

C86300 SAE430B 재질에서 주석 (Tin : Sn)이
제한 값을 넘어 합금 되면 취성 (brittleness)이 발생할 수 있고

Pb 또는 Nickel 도 제한 값을 넘으면
연신율 (Elongation)이 감소하는 결과가 나타날 수 있습니다.

Use for extra-high duty, high strength alloy for gears,
cams, bearings, hydraulic cylinder parts 용도로 사용됩니다.

C86300 재질의 일반적으로 부르는 용어는 CA863, Manganese Bronze,
High-strength yellow brass 가 있습니다.

※ Brittleness (취성 : 脆性)
The property of little deformability, hard and brittle in general.
It is usually compared by the strength of impact or
the surface conditions of fracture.
일반적으로 단단하고 취성 (脆性)이며, 변형 등이 적은 성질.
보통, 충격 시험에서의 충격치의 대소 또는 파면의 상황에
따라 비교합니다.
인성 (Toughness)와 반대되는 개념으로 외부의 힘에 물체가
소성 변형 (Plastic deformation)을 거의 보이지 않고,
파괴되는 현상을 말합니다.

※ Elongation (연신율 : 延伸率)
The extension of metal in length when it is pulled from both sides.
It is a common mechanical parameter for metallic materials, which
is expressed as percentage of the original length. It is determined
by the tensile test, Generally, an increase in elongation leads an
increase of ductility.

금속 재료의 기계적 성질을 나타내는 지표 중 하나로, 시험편을
양쪽에서 잡아당겨, 원래 표점거리간 길이와 늘어난 길이를
백분율로 표시하며, 연신율 증가는 연성의 증가로 봅니다.
