SM355C Round-Bar 의 특징은 -20℃, 27 Joule 이상의
충격 Test (Charpy V-Notch : CVN) 조건 강재입니다.

항복강도 355 MPa 이상으로, 고장력 강재입니다.
강재는 저온으로 갈수록 취성(brittleness) 가

급격히 증가하므로, 저온에서도 충격에 의한
파괴 현상을 -20℃ 수준까지 minimum 27 joule 보증 강재입니다.

KS D 3515 는 용접 구조용 강재에 대한 규정으로
강판, 강대, 형강, 평강으로, 두께 200 mm 까지 규정입니다.

SM355C 는 개정 KS로, 이전의 KS 규격 SM490C와
비교할 수 있지만, Ceq, Pcm, TMC 등, 차이가 있습니다.

SM355C, KS D 3515 강재의 경우, Normalizing 열처리 하며
Normalizing (소준 : 풀림 열처리)하는 경우, SM355CN 으로 표기합니다.

※ Brittleness (취성 : 脆性 : 메짐성)
The property of little deformability, hard and brittle in general,
It is usually compared by the strength of impact or the surface conditions of fracture.

20℃＜ 0℃＜ -20℃＜-40℃＜-60℃＜-100℃ 저온으로 가면 갈수록
Brittleness(취성 : 깨지는 성질)는 급격히 증가하며, 구조체의 안전을 확보해야 할
철강 구조체가, 온도가 내려가는 환경에서 버티는 성질을 중요합니다.

※ High Tensile Strength Steel (고장력강 : 高張力鋼)
Steel products manufactured for building, bridges, ships, vehicles,
automobiles, other structural use and pressure vessel use which
require weldability, notch toughness, workability, and
tensile strength of 490 N/㎟ min. in general.
In cold rolled steel sheets, those of 340 N/㎟ min. in tensile
strength are called high tensile strength steels.

건축, 교량, 선박, 차량, 기타의 구조물 및 압력용기용으로서,
보통 인장강도 50 kgf/㎟ (490 N/㎟) 이상의 용접성, 노치 인성 및
가공성도 중시해서 제조 된 강재라고 합니다.
자동차용 냉연 강판에서는 인장강도 35 kgf/㎟ (340 N/㎟)
이상을 고장력강이라고 합니다.
