5083 은 비열처리 알루미늄, high magnesium
합금으로, Al-Mg 합금인 5××× series 입니다.

5083 H32와 같이 “H” Temper 재질 알루미늄 합금은
냉간 가공 (cold working)에 의해, 높은 강도를 가집니다.

“H” Temper 이면서 “H3″의 의미는 가공 경화 후 안정화
처리를 한 상태를 말하고, H32 가공 경화도는 1/4 Hard 입니다.

“H” 다음의 숫자가 높아질수록, 가공 경화도가 높아져
강도는 높아지고 연신율은 감소하는 알루미늄이 됩니다.

5083 H32 는, armor plate 및 구성품으로 사용되고
missile components, marine, aircrafts 용도로 씁니다.

5083 재질은 좋은 내식성과 중간 수준의 강도면서
용접성도 좋아서, ERQ, GMAW, GTAW 용접 가능합니다.

5083 은 cryogenics 극저용온 용도로도 사용됩니다.
Armor plate : MIL-A-46027, Extruded armor : MIL-A-46083

Forged armor : MIL-A-45225, EN AlMg4.5Mn, W.Nr. 3.3547
Plate, Sheet : AMS 4056, AMS 4057, AMS 4058, AMS 4059 대응됩니다.

5083 재질은 ASTM B209 뿐 아니라,
B928 에도 5083 재질이 있으며

B928 5083 은 marine 용도의 재질 규정으로
5083 H116, 5083 H321 Temper 가 있습니다,

※ 가공 경화 ; 변형 경화 (Working hardening ; Strain hardening)
A phenomenon in which materials are hardened due to the increase of
processing strain when the processes such as cold rolling, drawing
and the like are carried out during cooling.

인발, 냉간 압연과 같은 냉간 가공에 의한 금속 구조가 변화 됨으로서
강도와 경도가 증가 되는 현상을 말합니다.
일반적으로 강도와 경도가 좋아지면, 연성은 감소합니다.

※ Temper (질별 : 質別)
금속 또는 합금에 요구되는 특정한 물리적 및/또는 기계적 성질을
부여하는 공정으로 (예를 들어 기계적 처리 및/또는 열처리) 후의
제품의 상태를 말합니다.

The state of material after the necessary treatment is processed for
the purpose of giving the particular physical or mechanical property
to wrought products and alloy products.

For the treatment to wrought copper and copper alloys,
heat treatment and cold working are known.
