MIL-DTL-46027, MIL-DTL-46063 재질은
Aluminum Alloy, 장갑 강판 (Armor Plate) 규정입니다.

MIL-DTL-46027 은 AA5083 H131
MIL-DTL-46036 은 AA7039 T6 에 대응됩니다.

AA5083 H131 은 비열처리 합금으로 냉간 압연에 의한
가공 경화 (strain hardening) 효과로 강도를 높여 사용합니다.

AA7039 T6 금속은 열처리로 강도를 높이는 재질입니다.
두 재질 모두 방탄 (ballistic protection) 재료로 사용합니다.

AA5059 H131, AA5059 H136 은, Aleris 회사의
Trademark Alustar® 로, 생산되는 알루미늄 합금입니다.

※ 가공 경화 ; 변형 경화 (Working hardening ; Strain hardening)
A phenomenon in which materials are hardened due to the increase of
processing strain when the processes such as cold rolling, drawing
and the like are carried out during cooling.

인발, 냉간 압연과 같은 냉간 가공에 의한 금속 구조가 변화 됨으로서
강도와 경도가 증가 되는 현상을 말합니다.
일반적으로 강도와 경도가 좋아지면, 연성은 감소합니다.

※ 냉간 가공 (Cold-working : 冷間加工)
가공 경화가 나타나는 온도에서의 금속 또는 합금의 소성 변형을 말합니다
