C51000, ASTM B139 인청동 봉 (Round-Bar) 규격입니다.
Phosphor Bronze 5% A 라고도 부르지만, 이 이름은, 이전의 이름입니다.

ASTM B139 은, C51000 Bar, Rod, and Shape 규격이고
ASTM B103 은,  Plate, Sheet, Strip and Rolled Bar 규격입니다.

C51000 은 nominal 5% Tin (주석) 합금으로
좋은 작업성 — good workability

내마모성 — abrasion resistance
내식성 — corrosion resistance 재료입니다.

AMS 4625 : Phosphor bronze bars, rods, and
tubings, 95Cu-Sn, hard temper, 그리고 SAE J461, J463 과 대응됩니다.

gears, cams, bearings, shafts, bolts, nuts,
machine screws, sliding parts, hanger for trolley-wire 용도로 사용됩니다.

C51000 Temper H04 의 “H04” 는, Hard Temper 를 의미하고
H08 로 표기되는 경우는 Spring Temper를 의미합니다.

구리에 주석 (Tin, Sn)를 합금 하면 청동 (bronze)라고 부르고, 여기에
0.05~0.5% 수준의 Phosphor (인)을 합금하면

인 청동이라고 하며, Cu-Sn 청동에 이 정도만의 인 합금으로도
주조성 (castability), 탄성, 강도, 경도가 향상되는 효과가 있습니다.
