2.4375, Material Name NiCu30Al 환봉은 Nickel 63%,
Copper 30% 주요 합금에 Aluminum 2.75% (nominal) 합금입니다

2.4375 는, Aluminum nominal 2.75% 합금에 의한,
용체화 뜨임(Solution annealing) + Precipitation Hardening (석출 경화)

효과로, 높은 강도 경도 효과를 발현한 니켈 동합금입니다.
Aluminum 합금이 없는, 2.4360, Material Name NiCu30Fe 와 구분합니다.

2.4375, NiCu30Al 니켈 동합금은, 650℃ 수준의 고온에서도 높은 강도,
염화물 SCC (stress-corrosion cracking) 우수한 저항성 금속입니다.

Nickel 65~70%, Copper 30~35% 합금을 일명,
모넬 (Monel® : Special Metal Trademark) 금속이라고도 합니다.

2.4375, NiCu30Al 과 비교 가능한 Monel 은, Monel® K500
2.4360, NiCu30Fe 과 비교 가능한 Monel 을, Monel® 400 으로 구분됩니다.

부식과 인장 응력 또는 잔류 응력, 그리고 부식성 환경으로 인해
금속의 변형과 함께 발생하는 부식을 말합니다.
금속 표면에 거의 부식이 없지만 미세한 균열들이 금속
내부로 퍼짐에 따라 (전파에)따라, 설계 강도보다 훨씬 낮은
응력에서도 금속 파괴가 일어날 수 있습니다
