AMS 5597 은 내열 내식 니켈 초합금으로
Plate, Sheet, Strip 제품이면서,

고온 뿐 극저온 (cryogenic temperature) 환경에 사용되는
초합금 (nickel based super alloy)입니다.

AMS 5597 은, Consumable Electrode 또는 진공 용해
(vacuum induction melted) 제조 방법으로, 금속에 유해한 가스 제거로,

고청정 금속과 균질한 조직을 가지는 우주 항공용 특수 금속과
발전용 금속, 특수강 제조에 사용되는 생산 방법입니다.

AMS 5597, Alloy 718, ASTM B670 UNS N07718 은,
오스테나이트계 초합금으로, 높은 강도 특징입니다…항복강도 1034 min.

AMS 5597 은, 극저온부터 538℃ (short time) 수준까지 사용되는 강재 규정이고
ASTM B670, N07718 재질은 649℃에서 Stress-rupture test 규정이 있습니다.

AMS 5597 금속은 , Springs, 극저온용 탱크, cases, ducts ,
엔진 부품, 고속 항공기용 프레임,

고온용 fasteners and bolts, 로켓 연료통 용도로 사용되며,
Inconel®718 이름은 Special Metals Trademark 입니다.

※ Creep rupture test
Test measure the time to rupture, elongation after fracture,
reduction of area after fracture, etc. by holding test piece
at constant temperature and applying constant tensile force.
There are at times the cases where strain ai measured during
creep rupture test or by interrupting test.

시험편을 일정한 온도로 유지하고 여기에 일정한 인장 하중을 가해,
파단 시간, 파단 연신율, 파단 단면 수축율 등을 측정하는 시험.
크리프 파단 시험 중 또는 시험을 중단하여
변형을 측정하는 경우도 있습니다.
