SUP10 JIS 재질은 Vanadium 합금 스프링 강재입니다.
KS 로는 SPS10 으로 표기 하고, Steel Symbol 만 약간 다릅니다.

Vanadium 0.15~0.25% 수준의 낮은 합금량 만으로
강도를 크게 높일 수 있는 원소가 Vanadium 원소 특징입니다.

SUP10 스프링 강재는 바나듐 합금으로 담금질 열처리에 의한
Crack 방지와 인성, 내마모성을 향상 시키지만

내마모성이 향상되면 그 만큼 연마성은 떨어집니다.
Flat 제품으로는 2.0t ~7.0t 수준의 두께입니다.

Round-Bar (환봉) 제품으로는 Diameter 380 수준도 가능한 재질입니다.
SUP10 박판은, Annealing (소둔 : 풀림 열처리) 열처리와

Pickled (산세) 표면 조건인 경우가 많고
Annealing 열처리 제품은 SUP10-A, SUP10(A) 로 표기 합니다.

※ Pickled Surface (산세 다듬질 : 酸洗)
Finish which indicates the surface conditions of steel products, with which
the scale, rust, etc. of surface are removed by dipping into sulfuric acid,
hydrochloric acid or other acid solution

강재의 표면 상태를 나타내며, 황산, 염산 또는 기타의 산용액에 침지 시켜
(액체에 담그다) 표면의 스케일, 녹 등을 제거한 것을 말합니다.

※ Annealing (풀림 열처리)
Heat treatment consisting of heating and soaking at a suitable
temperature followed by cooling under conditions such that,
after return to ambient temperature, the metal will be in
a structural state closer to that of equilibrium.
Annealing is a heat treatment process to transform the steel
structure in to a more homogenous, soft or more suitable state
Note : Since this definition is very general, it is advisable to use an
expression specifying the aim of the treatment (see bright annealing,
full annealing, soft annealing, inter-critical annealing, isothermal
annealing and subcritical annealing)

금속 재료를 적당한 온도로 가열하고, 그 온도에서 유지하는 균질화 처리를
한 뒤, 냉각함으로써 냉각 후 상온에서의 조직이 평형 상태에
가깝도록 하는 열처리를 말합니다.
이 용어는 아주 광범위하게 사용되므로 처리하는 목적을 덧붙여
사용하는 것이 바람직하다. 예를 들어 (광휘 어닐링, 완전 어닐링,
연화 어닐링, 중간 어닐링, 등온 어닐링, 변태점 이하 어닐링)
