C10 – Steel name, 1.0301 – Steel number 재질은
탄소량 0.07~0.13%, nominal 0.10% 극연강입니다.

전자 기기용이나 표면을 경화 처리 하는 표면 경화강용 소재로 사용되어
강재의 속은 연하지만, 표면은 높은 경도를 가지는 재료로 쓰입니다.

C10, 1.0301 냉간재 환봉 (cold finish steel bar)인 경우 항복강도에서
ASTM A36, KS SS275, JIS SS400 수준의 강도입니다.

C10, 1.0301 강재인 경우 AISI 1010, ASTM 1010
JIS S10C, KS SM10C 기계 구조용 강재와 대응됩니다.

DIN-EN 10277-2 규정에는, C10, C15, C35, C45, S235J2, E335 재질의
냉간 인발 bright steel bars for general engineering purpose 규정입니다

※ Cold Finish (냉간 마무리)
The term “Cold Finish” is an umbrella definition for any metal
that has had some sort of surface treatment.
EX) Cold drawn is cold finish surface.
Centress Ground, Smooth Turned, and Rough Turned — These are all “Cold Finish”

Finishing steel bar with cold drawing, grinding, cutting,
smooth turned, rough turned, centerless, cold rolling
or combination of them to improve the surface
quality and dimension precision

강재를 냉간 인발, 연삭, 절삭, 센터리스 또는 이들의 조합으로
마무리한 봉강으로, 봉강 뿐 아니라, 원형, 정방형,
육각형, 장방형 및 이형 등이 있습니다.

※ Turned products (Lathe turning : 旋削 : 선삭 제품) : Symbol +SH (DIN-EN)
Round bars products by turning on a lathe where the products
can be further processed by straightening and polishing.
This operation gives the bar special features with respect to shape,
dimensional accuracy and surface finish.
The removal of metal is carried out in such a way that the bright
product is generally free from rolling defects and surface decarburization.
For technical reasons some bars ordered as hot rolled products may be
delivered roughly turned(peeled), nevertheless such products are
treated as hot rolled products and not as bright products.
