C15E는 AISI 1015, JIS S15C와 대응 가능합니다.

C15E 가 규정된 DIN EN 10297-1 규정은

Specification for seamless circular tubes of non-alloy and alloy steels
for mechanical and general engineering purposes.

그 규정 중, C15E는 Non-alloy steel입니다.
표면 경화강이란 강재가 내부는 강인성을 가지면서

표면은 경도를 가지는 성질이
요구될 때 사용하는 강재 입니다.

※ Wear resistance (Abrasion resistance)
A property of resistance against a phenomenon in which the mechanical
scratch, metallic abrasion, etc. of relatively moving metal surfaces are
integrated and the surfaces are worn, called wear.

※ Fatigue
A damage of material due to periodically fluctuating stresses.
These stresses may have a maximum value, which is less then
the tensile strength of the material.
Fatigue often causes cracks starting with a notch at a sharp
corner of the surface or inner structure as a result of
defaults like inclusions or microcracks.
