A387 은 Chromium-Molybdenum alloy steel plates intented
primarily for welded boilers and pressure vessels
designed for elevated temperature service 입니다.
A387 Grade 5, A387 Gr.5, A387-5 로 표기되기도 하며,
ASME 지정인 경우 SA387-5 (SA387 Gr.5 Cl.2) 로 표기됩니다.
A387 Gr.5는 Class 1, Class 2 로 나뉩니다.
Class 2 는 Austenitic grain size가
coarse grain size (조립화) 입니다.
※ Fine grained steel : 세립강 : 細粒鋼
Steel with an austenitic grain size number is 5 or over.
※ Coarse grained steel : 조립강 : 粗粒鋼
Steel with austenitic grain size number is up to 5.
※ Steels for pressure vessels
Steel products manufactured pressure vessels and high pressure
equipment which require strength, weldability and principally
toughness at a ordinary temperature.
They are generally used for the principal portions of pressure vessels.

Steel products manufactured for boilers and pressure vessels which
require strength at a high temperature and weldability.
They are generally used for the principal portions of
boilers and pressure vessels.
