ASTM A204는 Standard Specification for pressure vessel
Plates, alloy steel, Molybdenum 규정입니다.

SM480M은 JIS G 3103 과 SA204 Ge.B, A204 Gr.B 는
서로 대응되는 보일러 압력 용기용 규격입니다.

SM480M는 Carbon steel and molybdenum alloy steel
plates for boilers and pressure vessels입니다.

Moly 합금이 주요 핵심인 SA204/A204,
SM480M 강재는 Moly 원소 특성을 이용한 강재입니다.

Molybdenum을 합금 하면
고온 강도, 인성, Creep강도를 증가 시키고

열처리 효과를 크게 하기 때문입니다.
텅스텐(W)와 비슷한 성질 작용을 하지만

그 효과 면에서는 텅스텐의 2배에 이르며
강재에 긍적적인 영향을 주는 원소입니다.

※ Steels for boilers
Steel products manufactured for boilers and pressure vessels which
require strength at a high temperature and weldability.
They are generally used for the principal portions of
boilers and pressure vessels.
보일러 및 압력용기용으로서 고온 강도, 용접성을 중요시해서
제조 된 강재로 보통, 보일러 및 압력 용기의 주요 부분에 사용됩니다.

※ Creep rupture test
Test measure the time to rupture, elongation after fracture,
reduction of area after fracture, etc. by holding test piece
at constant temperature and applying constant tensile force.
There are at times the cases where strain ai measured during
creep rupture test or by interrupting test.
시험편을 일정한 온도로 유지하고 여기에 일정한 인장 하중을 가해,
파단 시간, 파단 연신율, 파단 단면 수축율 등을 측정하는 시험.
크리프 파단 시험 중 또는 시험을 중단하여
변형을 측정하는 경우도 있습니다.

※ Creep strength (크리프 강도)
Stress to cause specified strain in specified loading period of
time at constant temperature.
For example, the stress causing strain 1%, 0.1%, 0.01% in 1000h.
일정 온도하에서, 규정된 부하 시간에 규정된 변형이 생기는 응력.
예를 들면 1000 시간에 1%, 0.1% 또는 0.01%의 변형이
생기는 응력이 사용됩니다.

※Stress (응력, 應力)
Tensile or compressive load per unit area.
Generally stress is expressed in N/㎟ or in MPa.
There are different kinds of stress, internal stress,
transformation stress, machining stress, thermal stress, etc..
