HIC는 석유 수송용 압력 보일러 강재의
내수소 유기 균열성 평가로
수소 원자가 강재 내부로 침투 확산되면서
개재물, 크랙, 결함을 기점으로
수소분자 (H2)로 재결합해 급속한 부피 팽창을 유발한
크랙 유발과 전파 발생 평가를 의미합니다.
SA516-60N 의, SA516은 상온 및 저온용 압력용기용 강판 규격이고
강재 두께 25.4 mm 이하인 경우 Charpy V-Notch Notch Impact Test -60℃를
ASTM A20 규정에서 볼 수 있습니다.
SA516-60N 에서, N은 Normalizing 열처리를 의미합니다.

-Supplementary Requirements for Wet H2S Severe Service
1.Measuring system : SI Unit or US customary Unit may be used
2.Material shall meet all requirements of A516 Grade 60 and A20
3.Material certifications shall be as a minimum in accordance with EN10204.3.1.
4.The hardness requirement of base metal is maximum RHC=22 (237BHN)
5.All materials and manufacturing process shall meet the requirements of NACE MR-0175/0103
6.Plate Requirements
1) Plate materials shall be SA516 (fully killed and fine grain practice)
2) Heat treat condition shall be normalized
※ Normalizing
Heat treatment consisting of austenitizing followed by air cooling.
The purposes of this operation are to eliminate the influence of pre-working,
to render the crystal grains finder and to improve their mechanical properties.
