C101–C10100 은 전자 부품용 (electron devices)
무산소동 (Oxygen-Free Copper)로 ASTM 이전의 약호는 OFE 입니다.

C101 은 Annealed 조건에서 Electrical Resistivity 0.15176 Ωg/㎡ max,
Conductivity IACS 101.00, 물리적 성질과 Copper 99.99% 이상입니다.

C102–C10200 은, 무산소동으로 C101 보다는 Copper 함량이
약간 적은 99.95% 이상의 함량이고, Electrical Resistivity 0.15328 Ωg/㎡ max,

Conductivity IACS 100.00 의, 물리적 성질로, ASTM 이전의 약호
OF (Oxygen Free)로, C101 약호 OFE (Oxygen Free Electronic)과 구분됩니다.

무산소동 특징은 전성과 연성이 우수하고 수소 취화
(Hydrogen embrittlement : 水素脆化)를 일으키지 않으며

반복 굴절성이 우수하고, 전기 전도도가 높은 특징입니다.
Busbars, Anodes, , 반도체, 커넥터 재료, 전자 부품 용도로 사용됩니다.

C101 과 C102 는, 경우에 따라 Dual Spec 으로 공급되기도 하며
ASTM B152 는, Copper Sheet, Strip, Plate, and Rolled Bar 규정입니다.

※ 무산소동 (Oxygen-free copper, 無酸素銅)
구리 99.96% 이상의 금속으로, 산화제 1구리 또는
잔류 탈산제가 없는 구리를 말합니다.
극히 우수한 열 전도성, 전기 전도성을 지니며
고온의 환원 분위기 환경에서 수소 크랙이 발생하지 않습니다.

A metal (C1011, C1020) of not less than 99.96 % of copper (1) oxide [Cu2O)
or copper without containing residual deoxidizer.
That is excellent in electric and thermal conductivity, and the hydrogen
embrittlement does not occurs sometimes by heating at high
temperature in a reductive atmosphere.

※ 수소 취화 (Hydrogen embrittlement : 水素脆化)
산소를 함유한 동은, 수소를 함유한 고온 환경에서 가열되고,
가열된 수소가 확산되면서 동안에 있던 Cu2O+H2 → 2Cu+H2O ↑
H2O가 수증기화 되는 현상이 나타납니다.
이 수증기가 팽창하면서 작은 기포로 되고, 이것이
동합금 금속을 깨지게 하는 취화 현상을 말합니다.

A property in which the copper containing oxygen absorbs hydrogen
at high temperature and is embrittled.
When the copper containing oxygen is heated at 400℃ or higher
in reductive gases containing hydrogen, the copper oxide in copper is
reduced, water vapour generates, fine cracks are produced at the interface
of crystal particle due to the pressure, and thus the copper is embrittled.
