Nickel 270 은 99.9% High Pure Nickel 금속입니다.
Nickel 200, Nickel 201, Nickel 205 보다 순도가 높습니다.

Powder Metallurgy 로 제조 되는 Nickel 270 은
높은 인성 (toughness)와 낮은 경도 (hardness) 금속입니다.

Extreme purity 니켈 합금으로 hydrogen thyratrons,
electrical resistance thermometers 용도로 사용됩니다.

Nickel 270 은 강자성체 (ferromagnetic), 비중 8.91 g/㎤,열팽창계수
13.3 Чm/m·℃, 열전도율 86 W/m·℃, 전기저항 0.075 Ч·m 입니다.

※ Powder Metallurgy : PM : 분말 야금
Production of high alloyed materials using metal powders and
the HIP process (Hot Isostatic Pressure). Usually these steel are
called PM (Powder Metallurgical). The products have a fine,
uniform structure and carbide distribution without segregation
and therefore offer a good combination of hardness and toughness.
Nowadays, a lot of tool steels are produced using powder metallurgy.

※ 열전도율 (thermal conductivity : 熱傳導率)
물체 내에서 열에너지의 이동을 열전도도라고 하고 순금속일수록
열전도율이 좋습니다. 20℃에서 열전도도가 가장 좋은 금속 은 (silver)
418.7 W/m·K, 니켈 (Ni) 92.1, 크롬 (Cr) 83.7 수준입니다.
공기, 나무는 열전도율이 낮고, 금속은 전도율이 높습니다.

※ 전기전도율 (Electrical conductivity : 電氣傳導率)
전기가 통하기 쉬운 정도를 말하고, 순 금속일수록 좋고 불순물이 있거나
합금이 되면 떨어집니다. 전기 저항의 역수입니다.
은(Ag) 100.0, 구리 (Cu) 92.8, 철 (Fe) 16.50 수준이고, IACS 기준으로는
은(Ag) 108.4, 구리 (Cu) 103.06, 철 (Fe) 25.36 수준입니다.

※ Toughness (인성 : 靭性)
The degree of difficulty in occurring impact breaking
because of the material’s toughness .
질기고 세며, 충격 파괴를 일으키기 어려운지, 어떤지의 정도.
