CX13VDW 재질은 질화로 표면을 경화 시켜 사용하는

침탄 (carburizing)이 용이한, 고강도 스텐레스입니다.
우주 항공 산업용 gas and steam, 해수 (seawater)와 관련된 산업의 shafts,

injection bodies for corrosive environment, engine bearings and
ball-screws, blade propellers 용도로 사용됩니다.

CX13VDW 재질은 AMS 5719 와, 비교 가능하며, AMS 5719 는,
11.8Cr-2.5Ni-1.8Mo-0.33V, 진공 용해 또는 재 용해 방법으로

생산하는 고품질의 환봉 등의 제품에 대한 규정입니다.
또한 CX13VDW 재질은 EN 1.4933, 1.4938 재질과도 비교 가능합니다.

※ Nitriding steel (질화강 : 窒化鋼)
Steels whose surfaces are hardened by nitriding treatment containing
aluminium, chromium, molybdenum, vanadium, etc.
They mainly used machine structural use.
알루미늄, 크롬, 몰리브덴을 함유하며, 질화 처리하여 표면을 경화 시킨 강.
표면 경화강 제조의 한 가지 방법입니다.
표면은 경화 시키고, 강재 심부는 인성을 가지는 강재.

※ ESR (Electro Slag Remelting : 일렉트로 슬래그 재 용해)
After casting, the ingot is remelted from bottom to top by electric energy,
During this process, the melted steel falls through slags, which collects
almost all of the non-metallic inclusions
A new ingot solidifies from bottom to top and there is very little segregation
from case to core.
The fatigue resistance and in particular the toughness increase.
Even through ESR increases material costs, it can still be economical due to
the increase in the tool’s performance.
Metal injection moulds and extrusion dies often need ESR steel grades.

※ Vacuum melting (진공 용해)
Melting in a vacuum to prevent contamination from air, as well as to
remove gases already dissolved in the metal ; the solidification may
also be carried out on a vacuum or at low pressure.
