Hastelloy ® 는 고성능 합금 (High Performance Alloy)으로
높은 Nickel 과 Molybdenum Superalloy 입니다.

물론 여러가지의 Hastelloy® Ni-Cr-Mo Alloy 제품군도 있지만
Hastelloy® 제품군에는 Nickel + Molybdenum 원소가 있습니다.

고성능합금 (HPA)는 고온에서의 내식 내열성을 특징으로 하는 초합금으로
Hastelloy® 상표는 Haynes International 의 resisted trademark 입니다.

고온 환경은 금속의 부식 시키고, 강도가 떨어지는 환경으로, 고성능 초합금은
815℃ 이상의 고온에서도 내식성 뿐 아니라, 충격, 진동, 인장 stress 을

금속 표면의 부식과 안정성, 내산화성을 필요로 하는 곳에 사용됩니다.
이런 환경은 금속의 부식을 촉진하는 고온 외에도, 부식을 촉진하는

염소, 황화수소, 이산화황 등의 gas 와 수용성 (aqueous) 입니다.
Hastelloy ® 제품군은 우주 항공 산업의 가스 터빈, 터빈 디스크, 날개와

원자력발전소, 화력 발전소, 탈황 설비, 정유와 석유 정제 시설
열 교환기와 열처리로, 제지 산업과 식품 산업 용도로 사용됩니다.

Hastelloy ® 상표 주요 제품은, Hastelloy C-276, Hastelloy C-22,
Hastelloy B2 alloy, Hastelloy B-3 alloy, Hastelloy C-2000 등이 있습니다.

※ Super Alloy
Alloy of which content rate or iron is about 50% max,
by addition of a great amount of alloy elements, in order to
improve the corrosion resistance or thermal resistance of steel

강의 내식성 또는 내열성을 개선 시키기 위하여, 합금 원소를
다량으로 첨가하여, 철분이 약 50% 이하로 되어 있는 합금.

※ Corrosion resistance (내식성 : 耐蝕性)
A performance of resistance for corrosive action in a
certain environment.
어떤 환경에 있어서의 부식 작용에 견디는 성질.

※ Heat resisting steels (내열강)
Alloy steels which retain oxidation resistance, high temperature
corrosion resistance or high temperature strength under
various circumstances at high temperature.
They often contain nickel, cobalt, tungsten and/or other alloy
elements other then several % min of chromium.
Principally, they are classified into four types, which are
martensitic, ferritic, austenitic and precipitation hardening,
according to their structure.

Further, when total amount of alloy elements exceed about
50%, they are generally, called super alloy, heat resisting
alloy or super heat resisting alloy.
