A182-F316L 재질은 저탄소 단조 오스테나이트 스텐레스강으로
내입계 부식성 (intergranular corrosion resistance),

내공식성 (pitting corrosion resistance) 특징이고, Molybdenum 합금으로
F304L, F304 재질보다 높은 해수 (seawater)에 대한 부식 저항성 강재입니다.

ASTM A182 은 고온과 압력이 작용하는 환경에 쓰는 저합금강과 스테인레스
파이프 구성품으로 쓰이는 강재에 대한 단조강과 압연 강재 규정입니다.

ASTM Type 316L 강재는 ASTM Designation에 따라 화학 조성과
기계적 성질 (mechanical properties)에서 약간 다름이 있습니다.

ASTM A182 F316L 재질 제품은 압연강재로는 제조하기 곤란한 대형 Block,
Square Block, Ring, Bar, Flange, Boss (속이 빈) 제품이 대부분입니다.

※ Intergranular corrosion (입계 부식 : 粒界腐蝕)
금속의 결정 입계 또는 근처에서 발생하는 부식

※ Pitting corrosion (공식 : 孔蝕)
Localized corrosion resulting in pits, i.e
cavities extending from the surface into the metal

금속 표면으로부터 내부까지 확장된 구멍을 유발 시키는 국부 부식.

※ Sensitization (예민화 : 銳敏化)
Increase in the sensitivity of stainless steels to intergranular corrosion
due to the precipitation of carbides at the grain boundaries.

스테인레스 강에서 결정립계에 탄화물이 석출됨으로서
입계 부식에 대한 민감도가 증가하는 현상을 말합니다.

※ Corrosion (부식 : 腐蝕)
Physicochemical interaction between a metal and its environment that results
in changes in the properties of the metal, and which may lead to significant
impairment of the function of the metal, or the technical system,
of which these form a part.
This interaction is often an electrochemical nature.

금속과 그 주변 환경의 물리 화학적 상호 작용으로 금속의 성질을
