nominal 18% chromium- 9.0% Nickel 합금한 오스테나이트 스텐으로

ASTM A240-302, A666-302,재질과 대응 가능한 Spec 입니다.

AMS 5516 은, 비자성 (non magnetic) 성질이고, 우수한 내식성
좋은 연성(ductility), 극히 좋은 인성 (toughness) 스텐레스입니다.

AMS 5516 은, 열처리에 의해 강도, 경도가 높아지지 않고, 냉간 가공과
냉간 압연으로 경화 되며, 좋은 가공성과 작업성 (formability and fabrication) 입니다,

AMS 5516 은 탄소강이나 탄소 합금강재와는 다르게 취성 저항성이 극히 높아
극저온(cryogenic temperature) 에서도 강도와 충격 인성이 좋습니다.

※ Solution treatment (용체화 처리, 고용화 처리)
Heat treatment intended for dissolve previously precipitated
constituents and retain them in solution

이전에 이미 석출된 성분들을 재 용해 되어 완전히 분해되
조직 내에 고용되어 다시 석출 되지 않게 하는 열처리.

※ Solution annealing (용체화 어닐링 (풀림)
Heat treatment applied to austenitic steels, consisting of heating to a
high temperature followed by cooling sufficiently rapidly to preserve
a homogeneous austenitic structure on return to ambient temperature.

오스테나이트 강을 고온으로 가열한 후, 빠르게 냉각함으로서
상온에서도 오스테나이트 조직이 되도록 하는 열처리를 말합니다.

※ Brittleness (취성 : 脆性 : 메짐성)
The property of little deformability, hard and brittle in general,
It is usually compared by the strength of impact or the surface conditions of fracture
20℃＜ 0℃＜ -20℃＜-40℃＜-60℃＜-100℃ 저온으로 가면 갈수록
Brittleness (취성 : 깨지는 성질)는 급격히 증가하며, 구조체의 안전을 확보해야 할
철강 구조체가, 온도가 내려가는 환경에서 버티는 성질이 중요합니다.
