SUJ3 — JIS, STB3 — KS 규정의 베어링 강재입니다.
심경화능 (through-hardening) 가능한 강재입니다.

SUJ2 재질의 베어링강이 주로 사용되지만 더 깊은 담금질
경화 깊이가 요구될 때 SUJ3 베어링강을 사용합니다.

SUJ3 는, 높은 탄소 함량과 Chromium 합금으로 QT 열처리성이 좋으며
시장 공급은 탄화물이 구상화 된 열처리 상태의 공급입니다.

SUJ3 에서 Molybdenum 은 불순물로 보며, 0.08 maximum으로 제한하고
SUJ3 강재는 EN ISO 683-17, 100CrMnSi6-4 강재와 비교 가능합니다.

※ 구상화 어닐링 (球狀化 : Spheroidizing Annealing)
Geometric development of the carbide particles, such as the cementite
platelets, towards a stable spherical form.
Annealing, generally involving prolonged soaking in the region of temperature
Ac1, possibly with oscillations around this temperature, in order to bring about
the spheroidization of the precipitated carbides.

석출된 탄화물의 형태가 구상이 되도록, Ac1 온도 영역에서, 가능하면 그 온도
상하로 변경하면서, 장시간 유지 (균열화)하여, 구상화 처리가 되게 하는
어닐링(풀림) 열처리를 말합니다.

구상화 어닐링을 하는 이유는 강도, 경도는 조금 낮아지지만 인성을 증가 시키고,
강인성 증가, 가공성질을 좋게 하며, 담금질에 의한 균열 방지 효과가 있기 때문입니다.
주로, 공구강, 베어링강과 같은 고탄소강에서 구상화 열처리를 합니다.

※ Bearing steel (베어링강)
Alloy steels used for balls, rollers, inner rings and outer rings of rolling bearing
High fatigue strength and high abrasion resistance are required because
high speed variable repeating load should be necessarily endured .
Therefore, they are manufactured taking into consideration the importance
of the cleanliness of steel and the uniformity of structure.
High carbon low chromium steel is, in general, a representative steel grade.
ISO 6929 treats case hardening steels, induction hardening steels,
stainless steels, and high temperature resistance steels as bearing steels other
than high carbon-chromium steel.

로울링 베어링의 강구, 로울러, 내륜, 외륜에 쓰이는 합금강을 말합니다.
고속으로 변동 하는 반복 하중에 견디어 내는 필요성에서 높은 내피로 강도와
내마멸성이 요구되므로, 강철의 청정도와 조직의 균열성을 중요시 해
제조 됩니다. 일반적으로 고탄소 저크롬강이 대표적입니다.
