CAC902C 재질은 연속주조 비스므트 청동으로
비스므트는 Lead (Pb : 수은)과 다르게 인체에 독성이 없습니다.

비스므트는 독성은 없지만, 납처럼, 절삭시 쾌삭 성질을 부여합니다.
CAC406C 재질은 Pb 4.0~6.0% 합금 된 연입청동 (leaded bronze) 이지만

CAC902C 재질에는 Lead 0.25 maximum 으로, CAC406C 보다 현저히 적습니다.
다만 절삭성에서 CAC406C 재질이 CAC902C 재질보다 좋습니다.

CAC902C 재질은 음용수와 관련 있는 fitting 류, valves and joints 용도입니다.
기존 KS CAC902C (니켈 주석 청동) 와 개정 JIS CAC902C (비스므트 청동)을 구분해야 합니다.

CAC9××C Series 비스므트 청동 CAC901C, CAC903C, CAC904C, CAC911C 는
다른 연속 주조 청동 재질과는 다르게 항복강도 규정이 없습니다.

※ Free cutting steels (Resulfurized : 쾌삭강, 快削鋼) — JIS
Steels to which free cutting properties is improved by
individual or combined addition of phosphorus (P), sulfur (S),
lead (Pb), selenium (Se), tellurium (Te), calcium (Ca), etc.

인, 황, 납, 셀레늄, 텔루륨, 칼슘 등을 단독 또는 복합으로
첨가하여, 피삭성을 높인 강.

※ 연속주조 (Continuous Casting)
주형에 용융 금속을 연속적으로 공급하고, 금속이 응고함에 따라 주형의 다른 부분에서
연속적으로 뽑아내어 제품이 형성되는 주조 방법으로 길이는 주형의 치수와는 무관합니다.

※ Tensile Strength (인장강도 : 引張强度)
Value of maximum load during tensile test divided by the
original sectional area of parallel portion.
As for materials in which the maximum load withstood by test piece
after yielding is lower than the upper yield point, it shall be the
value of the maximum load after yielding divided by original
sectional area of parallel portion.
인장시험에서 시험편의 평행부가 두 동강 날 때까지 견딘 최대 하중.
