Aluminum Alloy 2024 T3, 재질은 열처리에 의해 강도와 경도를 높일 수 있는
알루미늄 합금으로, Al-Cu-Mg 합금입니다.

2××× series 알루미늄 합금인 Alloy 2024 재질은
Al2Cu 또는 Al2CuMg 석출물에 의해 높은 강도가 특징인 재질입니다.

Alloy 2024 재질 단독으로 항공기용 소재로 사용되지만
Alloy 2024 clad with Alloy 1230 과 겹판으로도 사용되며

그 이유는 Alloy 2024 재질이 강도는 높지만 내식성이 떨어지는 재질이므로
Alloy 1230 재질의 높은 내식성을 이용해, Alloy 2024 와 Clad 해서 사용하기도 합니다.

※ Aluminium Temper “T3” meaning
Solution Heat Treated and Then Cold Worked
Applies to products that are cold worked to improved strength, or in which
the effect of cold work in flattening and straightening is recognized in
applicable mechanical properties
용체화 처리 후 냉간 가공한 것으로 열처리 후 강도를 증가 시키기 위해
냉간 가공을 하고, 충분히 안정된 상태까지 자연 시효 시킨 것을 말합니다.

※ Temper
The term “temper” means the division of mechanical properties
individually formed by various processing and heat treatment
conditions in the manufacturing process.

금속 또는 합금에 요구되는 특정한 물리적 성질 또는 기계적 성질을
부여하는 공정(예를 들면 기계적 처리 및 열처리) 후의 상태를 말합니다.

※ Clad (클래드)
어떤 금속을 다른 금속에서 전체 면에 걸쳐 피복하고, 또한 그 경계 면이
금속 조직적으로 접합 되어 있는것을 말하고 특히 금속 클래드라고 합니다.
다만 도금은 제외합니다.
