VL 2-4L 재질은 저온에서 사용하는 강판 규격으로
설계 온도는 -55℃ 에서, 압연 방향 41 joule,

폭 방향 27 joule 이상의 CVN Impact Test 가 요구되는 강재이고
강판의 두께에 따라서는 -75℃ CVN Test 가 검수 조건입니다.

VL 2-4L 충격 시험은 충격값은 고정으로 두고, 강판의 두께에 따라
시험의 온도가 저하되는 특징이 있는 강재로, 이는 강재 두께에 따라

저온 취성에 대응하기 위해서이고, VL 2-4L 재질 생산은 Normalizing 또는
TMCP 생산하는, 두 가지 생산 공정의 열처리 방법이 있습니다.

VL 2-4L 재질은 선급 Plate 이므로, EN 10204 Type 3.2 규정의
제 3자 검수 조건부, Mill Test Certificate 발행입니다.

※ Longitudinal directions (압연 방향 : 壓延方向)
The principal direction of flow in a worked steel.
Usually the length of the plate.
Grain direction also runs the length of the plate.

※ Transverse directions (역방향 : 逆方向)
Literally, across usually signifying a direction or plane
perpendicular to the direction of working.

※ Brittleness (취성 : 脆性 : 메짐성)
The property of little deformability, hard and brittle in general,
It is usually compared by the strength of impact or the surface conditions of fracture.

20℃＜ 0℃＜ -20℃＜-40℃＜-60℃＜-100℃ 저온으로 가면 갈수록
Brittleness(취성 : 깨지는 성질)는 급격히 증가하며, 구조체의 안전을 확보해야 할
철강 구조체가, 온도가 내려가는 환경에서 버티는 성질이 중요합니다.

※ TMCP (thermo mechanical control process : 열가공제어)
A generic term for manufacturing methods carrying out air cooling or
enforced controlled cooling subsequent to the main process
of controlled rolling.
It includes the thermo-mechanical rolling and accelerated rolling,
but not when it is classical controlled rolling alone
This is also called TMCP.

열가공제어법이라고 하며, 후판을 압연 생산시 온도를 제어하는
제어 압연을 기본으로 하고, 냉각시 공냉, 수냉의 방법으로 강재의 기계적
성질을 확보하는 강판으로, 온라인 정밀 제어 열가공처리 강판이라고도 하지만
용어의 길이가 너무 길어, 간단히 TMCP 라고 합니다.
