AISI/SAE 3312 재질은 Nickel 3.5%, Chromium 1.60% 수준의
합금강으로, 표면 경화 침탄 또는 열처리 상태로 사용하는

높은 인성 (toughness)와 내피로 (fatigue resistance) 강재입니다.
QT 열처리 성질을 높여주는 Ni, Cr 합금으로 심경화능 강재입니다.

AISI 3312 재질은 Nickel 3.5% 합금은 저온에서도 높은 높은 내충격성 성질입니다.
gears, crankshafts, heavy-duty gear shafts in aircraft, truck components

transmission components, pinions, rock drilling bit bodies, plastic 용도입니다.
AISI 3××× series 재질은 Nickel, Chromium 합금강으로 JIS 재질의 SNC 강재와

비교할 여지가 있지만, AISI 3312 재질의 비교되는 재질은 없습니다.
공급은 Annealed 상태이고, QT 열처리는 Option 입니다.

저탄소강 및 저탄소 합금강으로, 주로 침탄 퀜칭에 의해 표면 경화 시킨 강
표면의 내마모성과 내피로성을 높이지만, 강재 내부의 인성을 유지 시킨 강재.
표면 경화 방법으로는 침탄 (Carburizing), 질화 (Nitriding), 침붕 (Boriding)이 있고
각각 탄소, 질소, 붕소를 강재 표면에 침투 시켜 경화 시키는 방법입니다.
