LR Grade A, (Lloyd’s Register of Shipping : 영국 선급 협회) 규정의
Grade A 강판은 탄소강으로, 배를 건조할 때 사용하는 압연 강판입니다.

LR Grade A 강재는 CVN Impact 시험이 있지만, LR 선급 인증 강판으로는
가장 하위 등급의 충격 시험으로, 상온인 20℃에서 41 Joule minimum 입니다.

LR Grade A 강재의 항복강도가 235 MPa minimum 으로, 다른 선급용
고장력강 대비 강도가 약해, Mild Steel Grade A 라고도 부릅니다.

※ Steel for structure (구조용강 : 構造用鋼)
Steel products manufactured for building, bridges, ships, vehicles,
and other structure uses, which require high strength, if required weldability as well.

건축, 교량, 선박, 차량, 기타의 구조물용으로서 강도 및 필요에 따라
용접성을 중시하여 제조 된 강재를 말합니다.

※ Rolled steel products (압연강재 : 壓延鋼材)
Steel products to be formed bars, wire rods, sections, steel strip
in coil, steel plates, flat bar and so on by rolling mill.
Normally those further not hot rolled by the manufacturer.

압연기로서 봉강, 선재, 형강, 강판, 강대, 평강 등의 모양으로, 성형 가공한 강재로
성형 가공 후 보통 제조자에 의해 더 이상 추가적인 열간 압연이 없습니다.

※ Carbon Steel (炭素鋼 : 탄소강)
Steel made by alloy iron and carbon of which carbon content
is generally within a range from 0.02% to 2%.
Further, a small amount of silicon, manganese, phosphorus,
sulfur, etc. are usually contained.
For convenience, carbon steel may be sometimes classified as
according to the carbon content or hardness (including strength).
Classification by carbon content : Low carbon steels,
medium carbon steels and high carbon steels.
Classification by hardness : Extra mild steel, mild steel and hard steel.

철과 탄소의 합금으로 탄소 함유량이 보통 0.02~약 2% 범위의 강
또한 소량의 규소, 망간, 인, 유황 등을 함유하는 것이 보통입니다.
편의상, 탄소 함유량 또는 경도(강도도 포함)에 따라서 탄소강은
다시 다음과 같이 분류됩니다.
